"I am pretty sure someone's Nonna is definitely in the kitchen at Trattoria Pizzeria. The food is amazing prepared, the service makes you feel like family, and the place is so clean, that you can her own mother rushing you to clean the house before company gets there.
I ordered the baked spaghetti, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The kind of dish that makes you pause halfway through the first bite and think, "Yep...this was the perfect choice." It tasted completely house-made, rich, comforting, and clearly prepared with the kind of love that usually comes from a kitchen where someone is yelling in Italian. The sauce, the pasta, the baked goodness on top--everything just worked.
The wine list was also a pleasant surprise: great selection and very affordable. Nothing makes pasta happier than a good glass of wine that doesn't make your wallet cry.
For dessert I went with the limoncello cake. While it wasn't house-made, it was still delicious--light, citrusy, and the perfect way to finish off a very satisfying meal.
Here's the real kicker: the entire meal with wine was about $40 with my drink. In a world where mediocre pasta can somehow cost the same as a cell phone bill, this place delivers incredible value. It's not only the best quality Italian food I've found around here, it's easily one of the best meals I've had for the price.
